Round-Up of News for 2004– Another excellent year! |

January 2004 saw 4 Dancing Feet pupils finishing their run in ‘Never-Never Land’. Emma, Amy, Natasha and Scott all appeared in ‘Peter Pan’ at the Queen’s Theatre, Barnstaple starring peter Duncan and Jane Deane. They were all a credit to the Academy – Scott (whob played the part of Michael) is our first pupil to actually ‘fly’ |

In
March pupils took exams in ballet, tap, modern and acrobatic. We had a
busy few days and an excellent set of results. Our 100% pass rate is maintained! |

May Bank Holiday – Braunton Carnival – Despite the rain everyone’s spirits were high and our wonderful float won 2nd prize! |

Dance
Day this year moved from the outdoor venues to the Queen’s Theatre.
Once again our annual display was well received by a packed audience. |

The
summer term as always finished with our annual Presentation Evening. Pupils
who had taken an exam during the year received their certificates. The
Dancing Feet Cups were also awarded. Winners for 2003/2004 were: The evening finished with our Annual Choreography Competition which showed some great performances and great choreography! |

- ‘Dancing Feet Academy of Dance are on World Tour’ 180 pupils from age 4 – 70+ took part in our 3rd production show at the Queen’s Theatre which raised £2000 for charity (The Lydia Ann Cross Trust Fund & Breast Cancer Care) |

Various Festival wins at the North Devon Festival including our show opener which not only won the Cabaret Cup but also the cup for the most effective costume. | |||

‘Watch Day’ at the end of the year was a great success and a lot of fun for everyone! This was followed by our children’s Christmas Party with Captain Coconut and his famous bubbles and disco. | |||

Once again, Christmas and New Year saw Dancing Feet pupils appearing in pantomime at the Queen’s Theatre. Emma, Amy, Rebecca, Natasha and Scott all successfully auditioned and appeared regularly alongside Dillie Keane & Adele Anderson in Cinderella. Well Done!!! | |||
